Ambassador 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐞 on 1st September 2024, attended the Independence Day event titled Dil Dil Pakistan organized by Pakistan Zindabad Sweden. The theme of the event was the celebration of the culture, language and attire of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. There were quiz sessions where audiences were quizzed about the history, culture and icons of Pakistan. The unique aspect of the event was that children sang, acted, danced and performed in skilfully choreographed/directed skits, silent acts, and dance performances. Ambassador, in his comments, appreciated the passion and efforts of the organizers and the performing children in putting together this engaging activity. He emphasized the necessity of continuing the tradition of holding such events as they serve to strengthen ties between diaspora with the motherland. He especially commended the participation of the children in the event. Their energetic participation in the event is testimony to their parents’ commitment to Pakistan.
